Using the Site
This is the front page of the IAC Site.
The Menu down the left-hand side will help you to navigate to other parts of the site. The front page displays an introduction, Latest News items and the Teaching / Tourney Schedule for the current week.
If you see "Guest User" in the top right-hand corner, that means you need to register on the site in order to be able to take full advantage of what it offers. Just click on Register underneath, provide your details. You need to be registered and logged on to use certain parts of the time.
Changing Time Settings
The way this site works, times should be displayed to you in your own local time. For this to work, we need to know your Time Zone and Daylight Savings settings. Times are stored on the site in GMT/UTC and if you do not specify these settings, that is what you will see. For times to be displayed in your local time, you also need to be registered on the site and logged into the Site.
BabelFish
Yahoo Babelfish is an automatic translation facility which will translate this Site into a number of different languages. Please be aware, however, that Bridge has a fairly technical and non-standard vocabulary so some of the translation might seem a little weird. Also, since the whole of the page is translated (ie: including some of the programming code), some of the pages will not display properly and/or may not function properly if viewed in anything other than English.
