This is your page to make of what you will. Basically you can post messages and replies to messages others have posted (You can even reply to the replies!).

Each original post can be categorised. Some categories already exist, but you can add to them simply by putting a new category in the "New Category" field. This means you can use it as a Visitors' Book, to post comments about IAC or this Site, to report things not working properly, etc or just for general chat amongst IAC members.

Anyone can view messages, but you can only post messages or replies if you are logged into the site. Only the original Author of a given message or reply is able to re-edit it. Please be sensible about how this facility is used. Abusive, offensive or otherwise inappropriate messages or replies will be deleted.

When you register on the partnership desk there is a dropdown window "filter by level".

If you sign in as 2putt you will see 2putt. If you sign in as noslice you will see noslice. It is impossible to sign in as 2putt and see noslice; it is impossible to sign in as noslice and see 2putt. I must be missing something here.

Hi all,

I've previously posted a request to solicit players looking for a partner to play in pairs or team games. I can play as a substitute in team games if that can be worked out. I am available most times during the day, including weekends, and early evening. I live in the eastern time zone of the US if that's a concern.

I would rate myself as an Intermediate player bordering on Advanced. My defense can use improvement. I will play SAYC, but really prefer 2/1 with the usual gadgets. I am interested in learning Precision especially if I have a partner who will also learn this system or already knows it.

Well, I finally managed to "get back in"...I would like to be contacted as a Sub (I'm not ALWAYS available) for the Team Match Series.
I'm available MOST Sundays (mornings) and Saturdays AFTER 6pm (local time..USA Central).

After 6 Central should mean you are good for the Saturday teams as they start at (well, a little before) 8 pm Eastern, or/and the Sunday teams then. Good luck!

I'm unable to find any match using the partnership desk page. No matter how many or how few attributes I specify the search returns nothing. What could I be doing wrong?

To see the other people on the partnership desk simply click on "Show Records" and the list will come up. The site won't automatically connect you with people it's up to you to do that. I understand someone is trying to contact you to play. Make sure we have the correct email address for you so they can contact you.

No, no facility on the IAC site. There is a facility for Jeremy to post the Chatlog on the Precision site (http://bbo.pigpen.org.uk) but he's not done that because he has to do it via myself. You could private message him via the IAC site and ask him for it if it happens again.

If you are on download then you click on places to play, then on private clubs, then on BBO Intermediate and Advanced club.

If you are on web version it's a bit trickier, you have to make sure the setting will show both full and partial tables.
Then you click on show all tables, then on PRIVATE clubs, then on BBO Intermediate and Advanced club.

If all else fails and you simply can't figure it out, then when her class starts,(there's always an announcement) just right click on her name and join her table.

You can Reply to any Comment that has been made (including one you've made) and Replies to Replies are just another reply to the original comment in the thread. You can also Edit the text, Title and/or Category of Comments you have posted and the text of Replies that you have posted.
