Teams Series
The IAC Teams Series is an open-ended League split into 3, 5 or 7-week segments depending on the numbers of Teams taking part at any one time. Teams entered will elect to play either on Saturday Evenings or on Sunday Mornings. The times shown for the matches are now only guidelines and it's up to the opposing Captains to agree a time for their match that is mutually satisfactory. If the Captains cannot agree on a time, then the match should take place at the time specified. Where possible it is suggested that you use the guideline time as it makes it easy for people who want to kibitz the matches. The guide times shown here are now shown in the user's local time, which is why the Saturday matches may be listed as taking place on Sunday for you (typically if you are in Western Europe or further in advance of GMT). Please check out the Match Settings, Teams Rules and Teams Notes pages for guidelines on managing a team, and instructions on setting matches on BBO. It is suggested you you try to find a neutral non-playing TD to act for your matches, especially if you are not playing at the guideline time. Please set BBO_IAC as a TD regardless.
Team Captains are responsible for find a substitute player(s) if one or more of their team is unable to play or unexpectedly doesn't turn up
The purpose of this page is to allow all AIC Members to lview the Teams, Players, Match Schedule and Results of the Teams Series that will be commencing at the beginning of November 2008. It will also allow Team Captains to create and administer their Teams andto enter results etc.
